Hi guys. Just thought I'd start this thread for people who have either been to this event, or are going and want to discuss it. I know a few of us are going.
I'm hoping to get a Caley Pug and a few kits when I go this year.

Well, I went to Warley today, and have a few pictures and videos to show you.
Firstly, two videos of two layouts.

I'll be going with a few family members. Haven't been able to make it the past two years due to work.
I wish I'd known there was a thread on here about Warley, I had a ton of photos from the 2013, 2015 and 2016 shows on my old PC.

It's actually worth going through the higher pages every blue moon to see what's been collecting dust but ah well, maybe you'll be able to upload some pics this time All things being equal i'll probably be down on the Sund as it's the quieter of the two. Likewise I'll try and get the camera out a bit though even on the second day it can be difficult to get unobstructed views of the various layouts. Still should be nice seeing some of The Great Model Railway Challenge builds up close.

I'll be attending the 2019 event; haven't been able to go since 2013, but this year's kindly thrown an opportunity my way.

Pretty good show this year, I have to say! A great variety of dioramas, some really amazing creations by the Model Railway Challenge teams and absolutely beautiful layouts. Didn't pick up any models, but I managed to grab myself a very nice Intercity beanie hat, so I'm happy. I'll try and upload some pics.
Is Photobucket still good or is there anywhere better to upload images?

Photobucket can go die in a hole. Wrecked a decade of progress. Hate them.
Moved to Imgur.

I too have enjoyed the show as I am a member of the Warley Model Railway Club. Which means I had to help set up the show and taking it down as well as running it. My duty for the weekend was to operate Nancledre Harbour, an O16.5 gauge layout owned by the club.

It still baffles me why they don't use the whole hall at Warley, but that said it didn't seem as busy on the Sunday as in previous visits (I only go every 2 or 3 years). I too have enjoyed the show as I am a member of the Warley Model Railway Club. Which means I had to help set up the show and taking it down as well as running it. My duty for the weekend was to operate Nancledre Harbour, an O16.5 gauge layout owned by the club. Was that the Cornish fishing village scene, with NG stock? Loved that one, looked so authentic of the region. Bought back many happy holiday memories.
