My Record Should Never Be Broken!
Why? It would be beneficial as breaking old records is an important part of driving modern steam development forward
Anyone who wants to break my record is a speed obsessed jerk
That's not a good reason, why would you want to prevent the development of modern steam to ensure an old record is never broken?
Uhhhh... Just because it shouldn't be broken! GO AWAY! *Blocks User*
What a strange locomotive
Based on an argument I had with a strange railfan on Facebook. Mallard's lines are almost verbatim for the guy's actual arguments-if you can call them that. Why anyone would want to prevent the development of modern steam so that an old record is never broken is beyond me.
In case anybody is curious, The guy in the image is Livio Dante Porta who is known for his significant contributions to the research and development of modern steam.

Sleeper Agent: The RWS book station is a fictional/generic one as far as I know and it looks more like a kids model set rather than a proper NWR location but it was first drawn by Kenny and he also depicts C&C at Barrow when Gordon tries to run through towards London.

Knuckles: Crosby fits the location better than others, not perfectly but the location of the church building, bridge and a few other details suggests it.
