Welcome To The SiF Shoutbox!
trainkid783: Also I'm Trying To Create A Series Called NYMR Adventures & im Looking For Advice.(Also I'm Using Trackmaster Trains) Mar 19, 2020 16:12:00 GMT
fobhew22: All aboard for the next ERS volume! Read 'Mavis & the New Diesel' in the Library now. :) Its a good one! Mar 20, 2020 17:21:36 GMT
Ten Cents Too: I don't know if I should mention this here, but I find that when I access the forum, even when not logged in, it takes a while for ANY forum page to load. I just wanted to let someone know, in case this is a recurring problem. Thank you. Mar 21, 2020 21:32:01 GMT
Parker Productions: It works fine for me. Could it be an internet connection problem? Mar 22, 2020 14:56:10 GMT
Ten Cents Too: I don't think so. Every other site loads fine. Mar 22, 2020 20:20:41 GMT
Corbs: same for me, has been so for weeks, takes about a minute to load the landing page Mar 22, 2020 23:27:55 GMT
Chris: Good to know it's not just me. I've been having similar issues for a few weeks. Pages really slow to load when using home internet (TalkTalk) but fine on mobile (Vodafone), so it seems to vary depending on the internet provider... Mar 23, 2020 0:48:28 GMT
Chris: After further investigation, this might actually be a browser based issue rather than ISP one. As mentioned, the forum was slow at home when I was using Firefox. Switched to Microsoft Edge just now and it was fine. Which browser are you guys using? Mar 23, 2020 1:06:38 GMT
ThomasandMatt: I use a mixture of Chrome on my desktop at home, and my safari app on my iPhone when I'm out and about. Very rarely do I access it on any other browser. I also have the Tapatalk app where the Forums are hosted. Mar 23, 2020 1:29:50 GMT
Vought Sikorsky: Hm, so it seems the problem with forum pages loading slowly isn't just something entirely on my end. I use Google Chrome and I've noticed that disconnecting, and then reconnecting to the internet connection speeds up loading pages tenfold. Mar 23, 2020 1:49:14 GMT
Corbs: Chrome for me Mar 23, 2020 9:42:21 GMT
GeebMachine: I use Chrome Mar 24, 2020 4:28:56 GMT
PercyFan1998: I use chrome as well. I suspect just internet troubles or it’s an add-on interference. Mar 24, 2020 18:24:37 GMT
Corbs: It's only this site that is affected strangely. Tried the disconnect/reconnect thing to no avail. Mar 24, 2020 21:25:20 GMT
BNSF1995: The F&WHR is in dire straits, and needs donations: www.youtube.com/watch?v=vy8dzm4bnI0 Mar 25, 2020 19:32:23 GMT
LNERandBR: It's not the only railway that needs to cover its costs and is unable to due to the current shutdown. The Talyllyn has an appeal running as does the Fairbourne, I'm sure many others will follow suit shortly. Mar 25, 2020 20:19:54 GMT
Ian: ^ Agreed. Severn Valley, North York Moors... quite a list now. Other heritage attractions too- Black Country Living Museum popped up on Facebook this morning. Very worrying time for so many- fingers crossed they can hold out until we all get back out there Mar 26, 2020 9:22:29 GMT
Knuckles: 812 Tenders now available! Good for Donald & Douglass too. :) sodorislandforums.com/thread/4163/knuckless-modelling-desk?page=119&scrollTo=372517 Mar 26, 2020 16:59:02 GMT
BNSF1995: Steven Universe came to an end tonight. In the final four episodes, Steven was corrupted into a Godzilla-like monster, he was talked down, he FINALLY kissed Connie, and he left Beach City, possibly forever. Mar 28, 2020 3:16:47 GMT
aaronreturn2004: Coming soon: A Shout Factory member gives the fans what they want. Only it's not real infomation Mar 29, 2020 5:31:24 GMT
