Yesterday, I thought of what I feel to be a good idea. So as the thread does not become cluttered with the same goofs over and over again, the best thing to do before posting would be to quickly check the relevant episode at my Episode Guide (which I have been Admin of since Jan '04). If the goof you were going to post in this thread is already there, then it would be best to refrain from doing so. With an unofficial system such as this in place, the goofs thread will be forever neat, tidy and free of double-ups, triple-ups or even more, which would commonly unavoidably happen.
I always expected his branch line was an extension of Thomas' - he only seems to have a small village and a coal mine on it anyway.
Perhaps the track being built over the dam is just the same as a road being built over it - I'm sure that the Americans of the board (there's a lot of roads over dams in the US) can prove me wrong - similarly, if anyone has any proof of a track going over a dam in any part of the world, it would help out if it was posted.

I noticed a few errors in Thomas and The Magic Railroad
-As bobwinkle007 said, Diesel 10 does a nosedive off the viaduct, how could he be hanging from the track like that.
-For a breif scene when Thomas and Lady are being chased by Diesel 10, thomas has his happy face on. But why? Diesel 10 is about to get him!
-When Lilly gets into Burnett Stones car to go to his house on Muffle Mountain, there's a shot of the signs, and it says Muffle Mountain is the other way then where they're driving off to!
-When Lady emerges from the magic buffers she goes for a bit before stopping at the grotto that has Mr. Conductor and Junior, but after Thomas emerges from the buffers, the shot shows that the buffers were almost right behind them!
Season 1 ~ Thomas and The Trucks - There is a shot of a truck facing backwards, but as scenery flies by, you can see that Thomas is going the oposite direction of where Truck is facing, but there's nothing in front of the truck, but in the other shots, it shows that there's a brakevan at the end of Thomas' Train
Season 2 ~ The Deputation - When they're in the shed, one of the twins' tender is derailed
Season 3 ~ Percy James and The Fruitful Day - When Percy takes James' train he pushes it from behind, but when he goes to pull it, he goes FORWARDS like he's going to pull the train.
Here is a list of all the goofs that were in Calling All Engines !
-In Calling All Engines when thier was a close of Lady her wheels slipped
-when Thomas and Percy were shunting trucks the last truck where Thomas was behind was wobbling and tilting on the track
-When all the Engines were going to the meeting some of them were stock footage one when Edward was puffing out of the tunnel from Edward the great and when James was puffing near the water tower it was a stock footage from Thomas and the Fireworks Display
-When the engines were at the meeting Emily wasn't there!
In Emily's new coaches, Emily goes to the yard and collects Thomas' coaches by mistake. But hang on for a sec, if you look closely you can see that when Thomas arrives at the big station there is Annie right behind him! Now how could have Annie and Clarabel gotten to the yard before Emily?
Rusty & The Boulder-Note when the Boulder chases Rusty it hits a tree. Now, if a tree gets hit by a perfectly round Boulder (another goof in itself) you would expect it to fall. Not on the Island of Sodor they don't
In "Twin Trouble" you see all sorts of scrap strewn around, includinging rusting remains of whole locomotives! Wouldn't that be the equivilent to having human corpses lying around? Since when were steam locomotives scrapped on the Fat Controller's railway? One of those engines looks remarkably like an old thomas stunt-double or second model which has been rusted up.
To use the Reverend's words "lamentable ignorance" on the part of the producers/directors these days.
In "Percy Gets it Right" when we see the prize bull being loaded into Thomas' train, doesn't it look grossley over-sized, even for a bull?
I somehow doubt that Percy would have been able to drag thomas out of that landslide like that. In fact, I wonder if a locomotive would manage to get itself stuck in a real landslide like that.
Also, I seem to remember that the drivers had a bigger part in railway operation than apparently now. It would have been the driver who would have informed the Fat controller of the wobbly track, and percy would have added comment.
In fact, a report like that would most probably have gone to the Stationmaster or Signalman, and that section of the line closed for a works crew to investigate.
All in all, not a very good episode, especially from a railway perspective.
Rheneas and Skarloey puffing upto Duke's station. Que? TOTALLY DIFFERENT RAILWAYS.
Would guess they just wanted to make the railway look busier and didn't want new models just for those shots.
Why is it that in Special Funnel, Rock and Roll and others, Duke is clearly seen? These events happened before his second time!
Not to mention Rheneas. Again, I'd just guess they wanted to make the railway look busier than it really was.
I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned Percy's psychic powers - talking about the events of an S3 episode (Percy's Promise) in an S2 episode (Percy Takes the Plunge). A future-telling engine to what's there now...man they've wrecked him.
I think that's because in Season 2, Percy was talking in retrospect, and that the producers had no intrent - at the time - of making 'Percy's Promise' a Season 3 episode. It's pretty much the same for 'Paint Pots & Queens', having returned from Season 1 events.
The Sad Story of Henry: In the close-ups of Henry looking to the left in the tunnel (seen as Ringo says "The rain will spoil my lovely green paint..."), you can see that the track in front of him has already been taken up!
Edward, Gordon, and Henry: Three goofs here; When Gordon is uncoupled from the train, we see him slowly going over the points straight ahead, but in the next shot he's already crossed over them! Second, when Gordon pivots into the siding, you can see he has no details in his cab. Finally, in the shot where Gordon watches Edward leave with Henry, Gordon isn't on the rails!
They are. Those chains are probbably going to be used to hoist him by crane onto the pier again.
Twin Trouble - When Donald is back on the rails from his second crash that episode, there is something wrapped around his tnder
No Sleep For Cranky - In The Long Shot where the camera's on one track and we pass Salty, and all the steam team, except Edward, Toby, and Emily (who hadn't come yet), you can see the coach from the breakdown train just sitting there, but what's it doing shoved between all those other trucks without all the cranes and such?
I think Percy was able to keep his phsycic powers, but kept them to himself after talking about them had caused him to have an accident. It stayed that way in Seasons 3, 4, and 5 but Percy's phsycic powers needed an outlet after season 5, so many engines were having accidents in season 5, Percy knew they were all going to have them, but he couldn't let them know in fear of having an accident himself (I forget which episode but he calls "Be careful" to an engine, and then in another episode, escapes a near accident in "A surprise for Percy" and again in "Put upon Percy" (I didn't count it as in accident because technically he never really crashed)) until the day before the shooting of season 6 would begin, when all that had happened in Season 5, caused his brain to explode, causing him to forget important words like "Retired" so here is my obvious answer to Percy losing his phsycic powers: Season 5 destroyed his brain! *looks over what he wrote* Kewl! This should be made into an episode and be called "The Sad Story Of Percy"
The World's Strongest Engine - When Diesel is bragging to the trucks for the first time, the camera makes him seem rather flat, and also, there seems to be a red thing on the camera.
Edward, Gordon and Henry - I'm surprised no one's noticed this yet, because it's a very obvious error, how is it Henry has a new coat of paint by the time they arrive at the last station? Has STH gotten so cheap he expects that Henry and Edward going so fast will cause all the dirt to blow off?
It's only snow - The trucks Thomas pulls are de-railed a lot
Thomas and The Tuba - At one point Micheal Brandon says a sentence that ends on the word "Help" but it sounds cut off a bit
Also in that episode, Clarabel saw that the tuba player was still at the station, why didn't she say anything?
Jack frost - What happened to percy's coal trucks at the last station?
Toby Had A Little Lamb - Toby didn't need to cross the rickety old bridge to get to farme Mcoll, he just needed to go backwards!

Ten Cents Too: I don't know if I should mention this here, but I find that when I access the forum, even when not logged in, it takes a while for ANY forum page to load. I just wanted to let someone know, in case this is a recurring problem. Thank you.

Ten Cents Too: I don't think so. Every other site loads fine.

Corbs: same for me, has been so for weeks, takes about a minute to load the landing page

Chris: Good to know it's not just me. I've been having similar issues for a few weeks. Pages really slow to load when using home internet (TalkTalk) but fine on mobile (Vodafone), so it seems to vary depending on the internet provider...

Chris: After further investigation, this might actually be a browser based issue rather than ISP one. As mentioned, the forum was slow at home when I was using Firefox. Switched to Microsoft Edge just now and it was fine. Which browser are you guys using?

ThomasandMatt: I use a mixture of Chrome on my desktop at home, and my safari app on my iPhone when I'm out and about. Very rarely do I access it on any other browser. I also have the Tapatalk app where the Forums are hosted.

Vought Sikorsky: Hm, so it seems the problem with forum pages loading slowly isn't just something entirely on my end. I use Google Chrome and I've noticed that disconnecting, and then reconnecting to the internet connection speeds up loading pages tenfold.

LNERandBR: It's not the only railway that needs to cover its costs and is unable to due to the current shutdown. The Talyllyn has an appeal running as does the Fairbourne, I'm sure many others will follow suit shortly.

BNSF1995: Steven Universe came to an end tonight. In the final four episodes, Steven was corrupted into a Godzilla-like monster, he was talked down, he FINALLY kissed Connie, and he left Beach City, possibly forever.
