That's something that really bugged me during Series 9 . Despite the fact that you couldn't see them in Thomas or Percy during Series 8, they were at least referred to several times and seen in close up!
The episodes where the crew where actually mentioned in S8: - Henry & The Wishing Tree - Percy's New Whistle - Thomas & The Firework Display - Percy & The Magic Carpet - Percy's Big Mistake - Thomas, Emily & The Snowplough - Fish 2.
Notice how most of them were written by Abi Grant? It's a pity she didn't write more episodes in S9, as the number of mentions there was much, much lower... - Thomas & The Rainbow - Molly's Special Special - Emily Knows Best (Drivers are hinted at. "No one could phone for help.")
By Series 10, drivers will probably have been phased out altogether
I'd like to see Daisy actually talk a bit, instead of a cameo, but we're getting there...slowly.
I would be estatic to see the return of Sir Handel, provided that he keeps his original personality - which is something that I hope will happen, since all of the other Narrow-Gauge characters (except Mighty and Mac) are out of character...

Well he did - sort of. Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't George never speak again after that. He certainly did nothing of relevance (again correct me if I'm wrong) except work in the mountains in "Rusty and the Boulder" but I like to pretend that didn't happen.
I actually wish George never appeared again after that, simply because it was a good way to write him out and cut down the over-large cast.
Of course if they were going to make "Thomas Comes Home" I'd take that back immediately but, that doesn't look likely.

Terence seems to have gone the way of George as well (correct me if I'm wrong). It's a shame. Terence, as an original, I feel, deserves a chance to shine and get some much deserved character development.

As an Australian I haven't heard George Carlin's narration of George. Michael Angelis' IMO was alright but nothing special.
By the way, I'm interested in hearing everyone's views on the sisterly like figure Mavis has become recently. She has completely changed from the young and impatient engine she was. I like the idea of character development for her but I would like to see what sort of adventure forced her to mature.
OJ: I would like to have seeen another series but looks like the show will go out with a bang.

Madness: 'Thunderbirds Are Go' is coming to an end after next Saturday's episode. I saw 'The Long Reach' myself and I loved it, and what a shocker to the end of part one. I hope part two is a superb finale to the series.

Fox: It's another full three-week cycle completed, dear ERS Followers and Friends, so...you know what that means, surely by now...? That's right: more ERS Novel goodness in the form of another Story Arc to arise in ERS #9 "Dockside Engines"...

Fox: Now dropping is the latest twist in the midnight madness, in the crepuscular cavalcade, the dreaming dance of the dockside that is this novel's ongoing saga: Dancers In The Dusk! Bon appetit...

travelsonic: Wild Nor' Wester 3D gone … honestly, I don't wanna start a war, but this trend of places going and shutting down and rescinding all their content, and essentially punishing the rest of the community instead of asking our help is getting really annoying.

travelsonic: IRRESPECTIVE of the completely valid feelings that come (though how many reskins were distributed versus merely being made and showcased? Anyone know)

dtchapman1: And thus, we have gotten our conclusion, and boy was it worth the wait.

jjlr: Thing is though, I volunteer in a Charity Shop 3 days a week (still looking for paid work) including Saturday mornings. So after the longest week, I had the longest 4 hours of my life on top of that. And the On-Demand on my TV has stopped working...

jjlr: …so I had to watch it on my laptop. But I'm watching it again on the TV when it's working again because you're right - it certainly was. Gerry would be very proud indeed.

OJ: I enjoyed it too. A good end to a great series.I hope to see Mechanic as an official Thunderbirds characer as he was great.

Chris: Is it completely finished now then, or are there hopes to do more?
Feb 22, 2020 17:40:44 GMT
OJ: I think it's completely finished going by rumours. It had a good ending.
Feb 22, 2020 17:46:41 GMT
jjlr: Well, the ending left an opportunity open for a Fourth Series. But then again, depends if ITV or the producers want to carry it on, or if they want to stop here and not risk the show going stale and repetitive. I guess we'll have to wait and see...

dtchapman1: I think Amazon will have the final say actually. They do own the rights for international releases.
