From my experience, the premium paid on these trains from an unused store case is generally worth it; you get an item where you know the package and contents have absolutely zero wear.
However, this seller is definitely beyond the high end of the spectrum. Far too expensive for me, but any WR fan might enjoy having a look through their store!
While that guy does have a treasure trove of NIB vintage TWR, his prices are not only way higher than the market for a lot of his other items, but he sometimes labels an item with a different TWR product in hopes of drawing traffic to himself. For ex: he labelled a wellsworth station as a rolling gantry crane and he'a currently selling a 2006 edward for $90. So he's def a unusual find for sure.

Might be expensive to some, but this rare 2010 Japanese encyclopedia book is one of these gems thats worth collecting as it contains history of the Railway Series, character bios and episode guide up to the start of the CGI era. ebay.us/adxdti
Interesting, it looks like an update of the book that came out around the time of Series 7. It looks like the line-art depictions of the characters became even more simplified in the intervening years.

This is a G I A N T lot of someone selling their entire wooden collection, most of it is Thomas Wooden Railway, there's some BRIO and other things in here, due to the huge price tag it's been on eBay for 2 years!!!!! Here it is
This is a pet peeve I have with online sellers, they try to sell everything in giant "lots" that are way too expensive and include things you don't want, would it really be hard to break the collection up? Nevertheless, an amazing collection.

zeldatheswordsm: Railway modelling hot take: Daylight under the boiler is overrated in OO, and it might be best to glue acetate shielding behind it on locos that have it to mitigate dust inflow. Especially locos where the body is actually screwed to the chassis.
