The new characters are now out in the UK, except for Neville, Skarloey and Rusty.
I found a shop which sold them for Buy One, Get One Free in town today, so I picked up:
Douglas Dennis Molly Mighty Mac
I couldn't get Bill, as I'd have to buy a duplicate engine in that case, and thought it would be more worthwhile to wait untill the remaning characters are released first.
He's essentially Donald with new stickers, although the face looks better on him than in the photos. the engine itself is battery powered, and the tender and red truck are pulled along. Strangely, there's a symbol underneath him of a bin and a cross through it.... I guess you're not allowed to throw him away...
It's worth noting at this point that my Dennis came with a free hair, quite possibly from part of the assembly line. The model of Dennis is quite good, although he isn't as shiny as he appears in the pictures. He's just grey. His facial expression has his eyes looking to the left, giving him a "not bothered" expresion. He comes with the 2 trucks filled with crates of orange stuff, quite possibly slabs or something, but strangely, these trucks have no faces. Oh, and Dennis has the "no-binning" symbol as well.
Molly has a battery tender, and her engine is pushed along by this. Unfortunately, the colour scheme between engine and tender varies slightly, and her tender is not the same shade of yellow. She comes with a green truck, which is again, facelss. Molly's also missing her side-rods. Oh, and you can't throw her out either.
The one you've all been waiting for! Well, the coach is the one that's battery operated, and unfortunately, Mighty Mac only comes with two pieces, as opposed to 3. (Engine, tender, frieght or Engine, 2 frieght) MightyMac only has a coupling at the back end. The engine itself is rotateable, so you can have either Mighty or Mac as the front end. You pull the middle, and twist. Oh, and throwing him away is also a no-no.
Well, that's what they do so far, I'll make notes on Neville, Bill, Skarloey and Rusty once I get them.
Computer was a little wonky earlier. Corrected typos that I couldn't at the time of the original post.
Actually, the wiring and batteries acid will be quite hazardous, and it wont decompose(obviously). I'm glad to hear that these engines are neat. I do wish I could get them, but I haven't the money nor am I in the UK.

zeldatheswordsm: Railway modelling hot take: Daylight under the boiler is overrated in OO, and it might be best to glue acetate shielding behind it on locos that have it to mitigate dust inflow. Especially locos where the body is actually screwed to the chassis.
