I had my first day of driver's training today. For the most part I did pretty good, but my depth perception is a bit off. It's hard for me to determine how far I am from the right (US) side of the road.
I'm feeling a little loopy myself at the moment...my parents bought some sparkling wine to toast the new year...I had a glass and a half before my head went completely numb. (It still is.) But I was so thrilled to actually be at home to ring in the new year that I didn't care.
Happy New Year to all of you...however you spend it, I hope it's a safe one!
My celebration of 2009 was a tad dull, TBH. Our yearly family Bingo game was suspended on account of my Mum falling ill...again. I can't think whether it's a bad flu or overwork that's making her ill lately, but frankly no normal person could be as poorly as her. But we made the most of it anyway come Midnight.
And it didn't stop her with helping me with other plans - since my big brother has moved out, I get his bedroom with extra space and a new TV and all-in-one desktop PC. Still got a long way to go in terms of moving stuff out of my old room but so far we're making progress.
But yesterday I managed to across a rare gem. Mista Grimm (the guy in my icon's) long out of print debut album, Things Are Looking Grimm. Poor guy, it was only released on a record (those old black disks) and only available for a few months or so. Got the whole album on my iPod now. 8)
engineerrailman: pretty good. (Sorry I cut off for some reason)

Sleeper Agent: Gotta say Ringo will always be may fave but Michael was a most worthy successor and likewise sad that he has gone. Btw Engineerrailman you can edit and delete shouts on Probaords if you wish to combine the two.

Zack (Hufflepuff Batboy): There's something that keeps puzzling me; was Michael Angelis born in 1944 or 1952? I've always believed it was the latter, but some sources have said it's the former.

Zorgoth: Shared my condolences in the TV Series Discussion board; think I'm gonna watch some classic Thomas UK episodes on YT to remember Mr. Angelis by

Sleeper Agent: 1952. Not sure who published he was 76 first but The Guardian or otherwise he was 68.

Madness: Michael Angelis was always my favourite narrator. He gave a lot of great voices and he could always give you a good laugh at parts of his narration. R.I.P Michael Angelis .

SouthernCrescent: Anyone else have some trouble reading the site now that they changed it? I like the blue a lot better than the yellow but I don't know if its the words being yellow but I feel like my eyes go weird if I try to read anything for any length of time.

Sleeper Agent: My default disappeared so had been going with Work Safe but certain fonts and coloured text don't do well with it unfortunately. Currently on SiF Original which is fine but i'm sure the BR one or whichever it was will return in time.
