I tried to make this dub my best, but failed (well, I think so, anyway). A big "Thank You" to all involved. As for myself, I'm now taking a much-deserved break from dubbing and blowing all the money I earned from it on a cheap holiday with lots of booze. If you're off to Ibiza this summer, I'll be the guy you see lying in the gutter.
You know what, Chris? I don't think you should be hard on yourself because, like LADY HATT'S BIRTHDAY PARTY, this has been another outrageous sucess! Just about everything and everyone was great in this 'dub:
- The choice of music was very interesting. The Classic "Old Skool" Game Themes gave it that classic 80's feel, and clever use of altering the pitch to one of Beanie's themes too. Almost didn't reconise it! ;D
- The script was well written and there were so many lines I just can't name them all. But my fave ones were the flashbacks to the Driver lying to Thomas...and despite how hilarious they are, that scene of the Laughing Driver will keep me awake tonight!
- Everyone's acting was done grandly, with great suspence and humour throughout. Ryan, as always, really brings Thomas out, particually the scenes before AND after he crashes into the Stationmaster's House! "Erm...morning all!"
- And to round things off, a calm and sentimental Music Video, with some nice editing in it. Thus endeth another CB Studios Production!
One thing's for sure, CB, I'll be looking forward to - or hopefully starring in - another of your redubs in the near future
Yes, I too shall comment on how this redub was great. It certainly is your best so far, which is not hard, because there have not been many. Er, favourite bits, let me see...well, all the lying (why must he lie so?), the lead-up to the crash, the Rolf Harris bit...just really good throughout, is all I can say. Well, I lie, I can say more than that, but I will not, as it is meaningless.
If you have a problem, and you don't know who to turn to, maybe you should consider...

Trust me, CB, you did a very good job with this latest flick and if there's anything bad about it, it's my Donald/Douglas voice. Urgh, my voice just isn't deep enough and I did it when I was still using my MP3 player to record lines. Just...urgh. Ah well, I'll just be more weary of the parts I pick next time.
Still, self-criticism aside, entertaining spin on a classic story and hope your break goes well.
Christopher - You may be in luck. I already have plans for a new dub when my break is over and I *could* have you in mind for a certain role, so check back then.
Alaric - You'll have to take it up with the driver to see why h lies so much (See, even I don't know). And about the Rolf Harris bit, that was Clay after he'd taken some improvisation pills. Good stuff, they are.
Prof. Vengeance and Ryan - I thought both your lines were done very well. I can't think of any individual in the production who didn't d a good job (Except for that guy who played TFC. My god, was he terrible. Ban him from taking part in *any* productions, I would)
Proteus - Go see a doctor about that. And thanks for the kind words.

Sleeper Agent: But it does answer the apparently eternal question If you specified 'chicken egg' then it's the chicken as only it can lay a chicken egg and if the egg belongs to the newborn it's the chick's egg (and this could of become a cockerel ).

Nicholas: According to the latest theories, the egg came first containing the first chicken, it being a mutation taking place in a zygote from two proto-chickens around 58,000 years ago, themselves having evolved through thousands of years from theropods.

Nicholas: And, to come full circle, City of Truro was the first steam engine to reach a reported speed of 100mph, but Flying Scotsman was the first steam engine to reach an officially confirmed speed of 100mph.

PercyFan1998: Flying Scotsman was first gang. But I respect the idea of Truro being the possible first but I have my doubts.

Madness: I think the answer to that was mentioned on a show called 'Q.I'.

Gondarth: I keep looking for a release date for All Engines Go. I don't care about the reboot as it is, but I would laugh if it premiered on the day of my wedding (October 16th)

aspiegurl: October 2021's all I know, so it might be your wedding day

The Thomas Cynic: You could have a live screening party!

Gondarth: I would laugh if it is on the same day, but my wedding is on a Saturday, and that seems like a weird day to start airing a new show on Netflix, so I'm not holding my breath. You never know though...
