I am very big fan of comedy and television-past and present
I can usually tell which TV show is going to work out or if it will be cancelled after one series for example: 'The Street' a new BBC 1 drama in my opinion is the BBC just trying to make their own better version of 'Coronation Street' with well-known British stars
My other interests are Final Fantasy as I really enjoying playing through each game as you can do many different things each time you play it, I also like the animé of it which is called Final Fantasy Unlimited as the story to it is good, also the movies The Spirits Within which sadly didn't do do well in Cinema's & Advent Children which is the long awaited sequel to Final Fantasy VII. I collect figurines of the characters from every game and they fill about four shelfs in my bedroom, when I get the time I will take some photographs of them and post them up. Animé is another one on my list as I prefer a lot of Japanese cartoons to English one's, I own about 20 to 25 DVD's so far, here are some that I own Yu-Gi-Oh! The Movie, Spirited Away & Steam Boy. Photography has became one of my highest interests this year as I have done a Level 1 course in this field at College and have enjoyed learing the different tecniques while using digital photography and programs like Photoshop & Image Ready. Indy/Rock Music as I listen to these genre's most commonly. I listen to bands like Aerosmith, Franz Ferdinand, Kaiser Cheifs & Metallica as these bands are brilliant. I do like some Pop/Dance/Emo but not a lot, some examples being Girls Aloud, My Chemical Romance & Angel City. TUGS as this is simular to Thomas & Friends and is brilliant the stories, characters and music are excellent. I don't own much TUGS merchandise apart from 3 videos and the ERTL models of Ten Cents & Sunshine. Reading as it helps to relax me at times I enjoy reading Manga's, Fantasy tails and of course The Railway Series as they are my most favourite.
Another one of mine would have to be Ocean Liners. My fav ships are. The Olympic (Alot of people tend to forget or not even know that she was Titanic's older sister) Queen Mary Fairstar (Australian cruise ship converted from a troop ship) Mauretania QE2 QM2
Motor-Racing: F1, GP2, British Touring Car Championship, World Rally & MotoGP TUGS Train Sim Steam Rallies (Usually Onslow Park & Malpas) Comedy (Peter Kay, Jethro & Al Murray) Music (Any catchy tunes that take my fancy and barbershop) Darts (playing in my local monday night league)
I like a good Mystery TV Series. To be completely honest though, I'm more intrigued in mysteries about private detectives that solve the cases with a little help from their assistants, rather than a mystery series about a whole group of people that solve the case together. In short, I prefer shows like 'Murder, She Wrote', 'The Rockford Files', and 'Poirot' over shows like 'CSI', 'Law & Order', and 'NYPD Blue'.
I'm also interested in:
Conan O' Brian
Curb Your Enthusiasm
People make me sick Especially the people that are contagious. ~ Kit, my sister
Other shows I enjoy are TUGS, Theodore Tugboat, Hogan's Heroes, Ninja Turtles (The Original ), Ghost Trackers, Family Guy, American Dad, Futurama, Mission Hill, Sonic the Hedgheog, Sonic Underground, Cubix (Now and then), Air Farce One, The Simpsons, Stargate, Clone Wars, and every season of Power Rangers. As for Anime, I like Naruto, Full Metal Alchemist, Full metal Panic, Sonic X, Gantz, Gundam Wing, Gundam Seed, GTO, Digmon Adventure, Digimon 02, Advent Children, Last Order, Mahou Sensei Negima, Cowboy Bebop, and hundreds more. I only really like the original japanese, ecspecially in Manga.
Well, I enjoy playing Basketball, Hockey, Rugby, Soccer, and sometimes baseball. I also swim alot, sometimes surf. I skateboard and snowboard, all sorts of winter things. I als go for long walks to ease up my joints and bones. I usually walk around the neighbourhood and head for anywhere nice. I also practise multiple forms of matrial arts and usually practise them at a nearby hill overlooking the town.
Video Games and other games
Well, I play Half Life 2, Counterstrike, Halo 2, and multiple other games on line. I als play every game in the Final Fantasy series, ecspecially FF7. I also Play the Mario series, definetly the Sonic series, Ninja Turtle games, the Command and Conquer series, ans many many other games as well. I also play Warhammer 40k alot, painting and collecting the models, and using them in the game.
I collect Star Wars Figures, Warhammer 40k models, Gundam Figures and models, Megazords, and Exo Force models as well. I sleep, eat, chillax, listen to music, and I also enjoy model railroading. . And yea, my other intrests than Thomas.
I really like watching The Apprentice. Sure, every episode is like a advertisment for a product of some sort but it just seems to ease my mind. I like Phil of the Future, as well. It's the only show I watch on Disney Channel. Other than that, I consider myself an ice hockey fan. My favorite teams are the Devils, Red Wings and Stars.
"No matter what form you take, Aku, you will never defeat the side of righteousness." Samurai Jack
Thomas YuGiOh Cards (And the GX series of the show =D) Pokemon Digimon Insektors (RIP ) the earlier Sailor Moon Tomb Raider Diesel Locomotives (Real ones ^^) The Brak Show (RIP) The Pirates of the Caribbean (Both of them, they are awsome!) Flash Animation (Go Newgrounds! I make them too) Megas XLR Magic: the gathering (Sometimes, but there are too many cards >.<)
And my "The Dark City" novels and movies (so far), its fun ^^
Also, little statement if I may, DO NOT ask me for Thomas episodes by MSN please!
Charlie Chalk I wasn't a huge fan of this series in my youth but when i encountered Alaric's 'Rusty & the Boulder' Redub which featured several Charlie Chalk scenes, i became intrigued, upon buying the complete series, i fell in love with it and nowadays can't imagine what my life would have been like without Mr. Chalk
Comedy Ranging from 'Hancock's Half Hour', 'Hitchhikers' 'Filthy,Rich & Catflap' 'Monty Python' and such like
Neil Diamond Whom i consider to be the greatest musical artist in existence, I've not yet encountered one song of his which i consider to be awful, you don't get much better than that.
BBC2 Idents Anyone who has checked out my YouTube videos will know that i love the classic BBC2 Idents, the newer ones are not up to scratch in my opinion, by the way my favourite is Paint but Steam is absolutely beautiful.
Thomas & Friends (Obviously) The Raccoons JEM! (An 80s cartoon that was sort of a cross between a cartoon and a soap opera. Had some great music though!) The Wild West C.O.W.Boys of Moo Mesa Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends Camp Lazlo 24 (Starting this season)
Any genre that interests me, except rap. (Though for some reason I can tolerate 'Baby Got Back'. ) All songs from 'The Raccoons' Songs from 'JEM!'
The Harry Potter Series From Russia With Love (novel is better than the movie!) 'Foxtrot' comic series Any good story on ff.net
Writing (If anyone's interested, I'll be adding my ff.net page to my profile shortly.) Swimming Running Reading Listening to music
I consider myself a fangirl of Thomas, Star Wars and the Legend of Zelda.
I'm also a fan (just normal fan) of trains, particularly if pulled by a British Steam locomotive (cowcatchers and bells are silly!), the Star Fox series, some manga and anime (Strawberry Panic is the latest one I got into), and I also enjoy faeries, mermaids and other mythical creatures, and finally, Nintendo.
And then I'm just plain interested in psychic/paranormal abilities.
Don't give me insistent humming,
Horns and bells, and distant drumming,
I want steam, that's under pressure
As it rises to a scream!
My biggest interest is Final Fantasy and has been for quite some time. I got into this through playing Final Fantasy VII on Play Station and have continued on to Final Fantasy XII. I also like the movie that were released, alas The Spirits Witin didn't prove popular but I though it was brilliant, Advent Children goes with out saying the animation was brilliant and story really was impressive.
I like Anime and have done since the first series of Pokemon and moved onto others like Naruto, Yu-Gi-Oh! and Full Metal Alchemist. I like how each cartoon has their own feature that can help make them stand out to many others.
I like Art and Photography. Since I child I have always loved to draw things and see what I can improve upon. I got into Photography quite more since doing LV1 Photography at college last year and go out and take photographs of Railways when I have the chance (& batteries).
I like Reading quite a lot as it's a very relaxing, I normally read comic book stuff which is really cool, Manga's as they are anime but in book form plus the comedy in some is funny, The Railway Series goes without saying it's just class, Real Railway books looking into Railways around the world and in the UK.
Thomas The Tank Engine & TUGS fo without saying as they will alway be very cool.
I'm a hardcore coin collector. Mainly American coins, but my collection includes some from at least 30 different nations. It's loads of fun once you get into it. If you are holding a coin that was made in 1798, imagine the types of people who may have held it before you.
I am also a fan of lighthouses. I collect replicas of them, and I am even a tour guide in one during the summer months. Nothing like having a 170 foot tower entirely to yourself!
Other hobbies of mine include playing poker (Texas Hold 'Em, Omaha, and 7 card stud), shooting pool, learning about US Presidents, and figuring what else I would like to start collecting.

Sept 21, 2021 21:20:27 GMT
MrMilkDuctor: I was born in the 2000s so i I didn’t even watch the reruns from 1993 - 1998, as I said the only time I watch shining time STS was probably on a unknown channel but hey that’s cool to hear
Sept 21, 2021 22:02:48 GMT
dtchapman1: I suppose that is one thing we do have to consider on this forum now. We are pretty much at a point that new members are going to have grown up largely with the HiT era.
Sept 21, 2021 22:26:37 GMT
Two Red Engines: Me, I was born in '96. I didn't really see the episodes when they were first broadcast (Dad's job took us overseas), but I had several VHS tapes from S1-8 - including the AUS releases of Thomas & Gordon, Percy & Harold, Trust Thomas,...
Sept 21, 2021 23:22:57 GMT
Two Red Engines: Story & Song Collection, and Thomas & The Special Letter!
Sept 21, 2021 23:23:27 GMT

Sept 21, 2021 23:33:57 GMT
MrMilkDuctor: Two red engines i had only Like 5 DVD’s when I was young sadly I lost 3 of them hopefully you kept all of your VHS tapes
Sept 21, 2021 23:37:21 GMT
Two Red Engines: Thanks! I think I managed to keep most of them (mainly the individual S1-4 releases, as well as my Series 5 box set), as well as two DVDs, an S1-5 compilation ('Truck Loads of Fun') and a Series 6 release, ('The Chocolate Crunch')...
Sept 21, 2021 23:41:07 GMT
Two Red Engines: ...but some were lost to time, and others (mainly the S8 releases!) were just simply given away. Still have about 5 VHS releases (6 if you count the fact that my S5 box set came with two tapes) and those two DVDs, though, so not too bad in my opinion.
Sept 21, 2021 23:42:55 GMT
Two Red Engines: Say, anyone still got copies of their Railway Series books? Me, I've still got my 1997 edition of 'The Complete Collection' (the Gawdry version!), as well as RWS volumes 31, 32 and 40 (along with some stories from RWS 28 and 30 from the TTTE Book Club).

MrMilkDuctor: Classic Thomas is gonna come back?
Sept 22, 2021 10:15:53 GMT
MrMilkDuctor: Or did I just read that in a wrong way
Sept 22, 2021 10:19:38 GMT
whosgeoffrey: I'm personally inclined to think of it as just another one of Allcroft's very heart-warming messages to the adult fanbase. If she is doing something new with Thomas, I doubt it'll be new episodes, though — maybe the biography she mentioned some time ago?
Sept 22, 2021 12:36:14 GMT
MrMilkDuctor: Yeah that could be true
