Well after being absent aside from a few sporadic appearances I've finally decided to return on a regular basis especially with the new season underway, I figured it'd be great time to come back. In addition to all of that, I just graduated from college a few weeks ago so now I have significantly more free time to drop in and post.
I am going away on my weekend holiday tomorrow morning and come home on Sunday, I won't be home until somewhere around teatime. I'll see you all when I get home. I'll be off to Bolton and will get to ride on the train at the East Lancs Railway. I'll be off to the Fred Debinah Heritage Museum.
I like to be helpful and I always like to show what I can do .

Just to let you guys know, from tomorrow I shall be away for 2 weeks and won't have access to internet whilst I'm away (though I'm not on SiF as much as I used to be, but I do like browsing now and again). But anyway, I shall probably be back in 2 to 3 weeks time. So to anyone I owe lines for, I shall hopefully get them done for you as soon as I get back.
Just to let you guys and gals know, that I've been back now for 24 hours. I had a much needed wonderful holiday, and there's better place than Florida for that. Just love that place, sometimes I could really live in the USA - its my second home (even though a mate of mine said they weren't doing so well in financial terms at the moment compared with the UK), but there's something about America that I just feel... home (but only the Good Lord knows what we're all destined for in life, but knows its up to us to reach it).

So, in about 12 days I'm heading off to Germany, then some other countries in Europe, France and...
The United Kingdom!!!
I honestly never thought i would be seeing British Soil until i was at least 30. First of all, originally i wasnt actually going to UK to start with, but my family was going to Europe anyway so i decided i'd try and fit Britain into the time frame. A few places I'm going: The National Railway Museum in York Thomas Land UK and a rather recent addition ( like, 10 minutes ago) Bromsgrove
why bromsgrove? well, recently i've been interested in the lickey incline workings of the 50's, you know, with Big Bertha and the 9F that replaced her. Bromsgrove station is at the foot of the bank, and because it was kind of between Thomas Land UK and Stonehenge i thought it could be a good opportunity to see a notable part of British Rail.
Last Edit: Mar 8, 2015 1:40:56 GMT by Nicholas: Moved from redundant thread
Hmmm... was this the proper thread then? Hello SiF. Yeah I've been gone like four years, no hard feelings but I got a new job I hated at that time and my interests shifted. Now I'm my interest are shifting back. Yeah this time I don't have a website to put in my signature and say "Hey look at this!" although I have thought about reviving ShiningTimeU since I find myself looking back at that failure and one thing that has change in four years is I've learned how to use content management systems to make me look like I know how to build a website. Oh well, I'm looking forward to having fun just the same and exploring my fandom again and deeper with the new insights and a new less emo outlook that has come from my time away.
Hello again everyone. It's me, oliverfanno11. You know. That guy who did that parody thing once. Which may be continued one day. Maybe.
But anyway, I'm back after a 2 year sabbatical (technically one year, but who's keeping tabs on that?), with a brand spanking new account, mainly because I couldn't be arsed with getting the mods to link my old account to my new email. Sorry about that.
Not that anyone noticed.
Well, at the very least, I'm (a bit) older (dear God, I'm an adult now) and (somewhat) wiser (I am at university...), so I won't be as (in)active as I was, but hey. I'm back!
For anyone sending in questions, queries and ideas for the ERS, please note I'll be on holiday for the rest of the week. Will respond to emails as and when, but feel free to send on to other team members.
Even for 9 days, it feels too long, for I'd say little more than 3 weeks I've been vacationing in Philippines with family, due to various events that my relatives have planned I seemingly have not been very active, since I won't be back till July 27th USA Western date.
I'm going to be away for awhile now; my laptop's screen just went kaput! Hope to be back soon. EDIT: Just made a little adjustment so that I can still get onto my computer, but I'll still need to get my main screen fixed sometime soon.

Fox: It's another full three-week cycle completed, dear ERS Followers and Friends, so...you know what that means, surely by now...? That's right: more ERS Novel goodness in the form of another Story Arc to arise in ERS #9 "Dockside Engines"...

travelsonic: Wild Nor' Wester 3D gone … honestly, I don't wanna start a war, but this trend of places going and shutting down and rescinding all their content, and essentially punishing the rest of the community instead of asking our help is getting really annoying.

travelsonic: IRRESPECTIVE of the completely valid feelings that come (though how many reskins were distributed versus merely being made and showcased? Anyone know)

dtchapman1: And thus, we have gotten our conclusion, and boy was it worth the wait.

jjlr: Thing is though, I volunteer in a Charity Shop 3 days a week (still looking for paid work) including Saturday mornings. So after the longest week, I had the longest 4 hours of my life on top of that. And the On-Demand on my TV has stopped working...
Feb 22, 2020 14:13:44 GMT
jjlr: …so I had to watch it on my laptop. But I'm watching it again on the TV when it's working again because you're right - it certainly was. Gerry would be very proud indeed.

OJ: I enjoyed it too. A good end to a great series.I hope to see Mechanic as an official Thunderbirds characer as he was great.
Feb 22, 2020 14:29:19 GMT
Chris: Is it completely finished now then, or are there hopes to do more?
Feb 22, 2020 17:40:44 GMT
OJ: I think it's completely finished going by rumours. It had a good ending.
Feb 22, 2020 17:46:41 GMT
jjlr: Well, the ending left an opportunity open for a Fourth Series. But then again, depends if ITV or the producers want to carry it on, or if they want to stop here and not risk the show going stale and repetitive. I guess we'll have to wait and see...

BNSF1995: I remember watching Recess on Saturday mornings. Jason voiced Mikey for the entire run, and was only replaced when the Lilo & Stitch crossover was made (his replacement was Zack Shada, who voiced Finn/Pen in the pilot for Adventure Time).

Parker Productions: Sad to hear a fandom member passed away recently, someone called Nicholas Blaschke. I didn't know him but learning about a tragic death of a Thomas fan is terrible news. My condolences to his family.
